Japan visa assistance, from file to flight.

Filipino passport holders need a visa to visit Japan as tourists. Our visa desk reviews your papers, files them and tells you the last day to hand them in, so the visa is ready before you fly. Our current fee and processing time are below.

The entry rule in brief

  • Filipino passport holders need a visa to enter Japan as tourists.
  • The Embassy of Japan has said the fee for a temporary visitor visa of up to 90 days stays free for Filipinos. Agencies and application centres may charge a service fee for handling the application.
  • Japan opened an online eVISA for Filipinos from May 2026, but only for ordinary passport holders who live in the Philippines and travel for tourism on an organised package tour. Ask us whether your trip qualifies.
  • Visit Japan Web is not a visa. It is the free online form for your passport, flight and customs details before you fly.
  • Your passport should be valid for the whole trip and have blank pages.

Entry rules as of October 2026, from public news and embassy statements. They change, so confirm with the Embassy of Japan before you pay for flights.
